UCO's!!! (Unidentified Crafty Objects)

Ahhh! Aliens are coming to attack! Here are some quick and easy steps to create a UCO.

First you'll need two paper plates, they look best with designed edges. One stapler, and some markers, colored pencils, crayons, and if you want maybe some paint.

Take the two paper plates and lay them upside down on top of eachother. Make sure the edges are lined up NOW so there are no mistakes in the future.

Carefully staple the edges together. There should be about two inches in between each staple. Continue to staple all around measuring with your fingers.
Hint: two inches is about four fingers.

Next try to draw a straight line in black marker all around the edge of the plate. Try to make it as straight as possible.

Next color in the top with blue. The top is NOT blue just because I like the color blue, The top is blue because it's glass. It will look best if you try to color long strokes in the same direction the whole way.

It should turn out something like this. DO NOT and I repeat, DO NOT freak out if you've gone off the edge because the edge was going to turn out blue anyways.

Now for those of you who did not color on the edge, do it now like shown in the picture above.

When you have finished coloring, your plate might look like this. If not, I'd look back and reread  everything just in case you've missed a step.

Now color the side green. Now the side IS green because I like green. So feel free to pick any other color of your choice to color in the side.

If you're done it should look like this except maybe in a different color. So the top is already alien-ish...

...what about the bottom? Flip your plates over so you're looking at the bottom. Let's get to work again!

Now it's time to color the bump on the bottom any color you want. It's best to choose a different color to make just a bit cooler looking. Use all the same techniques I've taught you then you may go ahead and color the sides.

Your alien space craft should look like this but maybe in a different color. If you didn't color the sides remember how I taught you to and do it right NOW!

Now color the bottom any color you like.I chose yellow because I thought yellow would look cool.

Now color a dot with any color you want in between each staple.

Here's what the bottom should look like except probably with different colors.

Here's the top...

...and here's the side!

Now you can fly it! This UCO is flying on it's side and it's about to crash.. I threw it at the wall on accident. At least it's a pretty cool frisbee.
